hi everyone! i just wanted to clarify a few things about me and this little blog of mine. i absolutely love having a blog. i think it is a great way to vent, share inspiration, and share my life with loved ones who aren't with me everyday. those are the main reasons i made this blog. my blog isn't always going to be a ray of sunshine, and i won't apologize for venting and being negative. if i'm in a bad mood i'm sure as hell going to share it with you because that's what is going on in my life. i understand that not everyone is going to care about my negativity, while others may be going through something similar, but if you don't like it then you can stop reading it. there is no need to post hurtful comments. i don't care what you have to say if it's hurtful. i've recently noticed that many bloggers out there will only "follow" you if you "follow" them and put their button on your blog. that is the dumbest thing ever. i am only following blogs that i like to read. please, don't think that i'm a bitch for not advertising your blog. it's nothing personal...i just want to keep my blog about me.
for those of you who do read my blog. thank you. i appreciate it more than you know. i've met quite a few amazing people through the blog world. you guys rock. :D

on a completely different note, classes start in less then a week, and i am definitely not prepared! i need to order books and more importantly organize my life! however this is going to be so much easier to do with my new car! i love love love it so much. :) it's love i'm pretty sure.

Couldn't agree more! Sure, some people may maintain blogs for other reason but as far as lifestyle blogs go, it's YOUR life, and you're just being real!!!! While it's exciting seeing there are new readers and new opportunities to "meet" other people and get inspiration in various forms, what blogging really comes down to is that your blog is whatever you want it to be! I don't know why people feel the need to share negativity.
ReplyDeleteI also agree with the "following". I love when people enjoy reading or have something to say, but I also love interacting with everyone and am not going to follow someone just to get a follow back because it's completely ingenuine! That being said, thanks for reading (I thought the picture on the computer screen looked familiar haha)!
Hope you have a great first week of classes. I'm so looking forward to mine but also not looking forward to the freedom of summer going away!!! :)
:) i like to read both positive and negative comments. it's about our life right? there's always a time when you're feeling down and i agree with you - don't like it? don't read it! I don't have any followers but i follow a few people (you're one of them) and i totally don't mind if they don't follow me. I write because i love it and it makes me feel better when i'm down and even better when i'm in a happy mood :)
ReplyDeletethe blog i kept while i was in college was the most depressive thing i've ever read - believe me. it was sort of a diary where i could say everything. now it's not public anymore cause i doesn't make sense :)
so i'll keep reading whatever is going on with you
ps. i like the car! lol
Well spoken! I enjoy reading honesty, negative and positive. It's real and it allows for a connection. I love the people I have met through the blog world! I'm sorry that you've gotten some nastiness, just shake it off (I know you are). ;) I recently posted about my baby cat being killed by a car, it was traumatic, and I needed to talk about it. I got very supportive and comforting feedback, and I'm sorry if people didn't want to read about that mingled in with my art postings. I felt my followers deserved the truth, and I'm thankful that I have such awesome followers (such as yourself!). I enjoy reading your blog, good and bad! Keep it real. :)
